Next Public Workshop Set for October 6, 2026
CARE is holding a second Public Workshop to gather stakeholder input on the next California Carpet Stewardship Program Five-Year Plan, covering 2028-2032. The Workshop will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Pacific.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
Draft performance goals and metrics along with strategies and tactics will be presented for feedback.

June 2026 Workshop
On June 10th, CARE held a Public Workshop to gather stakeholder input on the next California Carpet Stewardship Program Five-Year Plan, covering 2028-2032. Video of the workshop can be watched below. Topics included performance goals and activities, the carpet collection system, market development, financing mechanisms, and education and outreach.
