Texas Carpet Recycling, an offshoot of Thomas Holland’s Corporate Floors, Inc., is the only local, full service landfill diversion alternative for commercial carpet. The company offers end–users, dealers, and mills an efficient local alternative to expensive, unsustainable landfills. Texas Carpet Recycling finds uses for old carpet, no matter what fiber or backing; after sorting, baling, and grinding down used carpet, the company ships it by truck to a recycled carpet manufacturer in Georgia.
Texas Carpet Recycling plants one tree for every ton of carpet processed through their partnership with American Forests, at www.americanforests.org. Every 90 days, Texas Carpet Recycling plants an average of 500 trees.
