Construction Specification Institute MasterFormat®
According to the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), MasterFormat® is the most widely used standard for organizing specifications and other written information for commercial and institutional building projects in the U.S. and Canada. It provides a list of divisions, and section numbers and titles within each division to follow in organizing information about a facility’s construction requirements and associated activities.

Carpet Reclamation Bid for Commercial & Institutional Construction Projects
In Commercial and Institutional construction projects, job contracts are awarded based on a system of bidding. Interested parties submit bids to the owner, developer or project manager, who reviews all the bids before selecting a contractor to perform the required work for the particular project based on cost, level of expertise, professionalism, manpower and certifications. Since most contractors are rejected at the initial bidding phase, it is extremely important to have a professional and detailed bid for submission.
