The California Carpet Stewardship Program is seeking a Council Facilitator for its recently formed California Council on Carpet Recycling (RFP here.) The Council is intended to provide input from stakeholders interested in the design and implementation of the California Carpet Stewardship Program. The Council’s first meeting is slated for mid-February 2016.
The ideal candidate:
Has a background in recycling, extended producer responsibility and product stewardship policy, planning and implementation
Has regulatory understanding, in particular with California public agencies and CalRecycle
Has a background in setting formal policies and procedures for council groups
Has experience forming, facilitating and documenting diverse stakeholder working groups, committees, councils and/or workshops toward successful outcomes.
Proposals must be submitted by January 12, 2016, 5 p.m. PST. Late submissions will not be reviewed.
