The California Carpet Stewardship Program has released new videos in Spanish and English on “How to Recycle Carpet in California.” The videos replace the previous videos that have received over 430,000 views since their release in 2017; the videos are posted on the CARE website and on CARE’s YouTube channel.
“Outreach to flooring contractors and DIY residents is key to increasing carpet collection,” noted CARE Executive Director Bob Peoples. “We know that video is how many people get their information these days. It’s our hope that these 60-second how-to’s will raise awareness of proper carpet preparation and of the convenient 160+ CARE public drop-off sites in the state.”
